Customer Review: 5 days to Kuwait
I ordered a book through another online book provider and received three different delivery dates which were well beyond the date originally quoted. I needed the book fast for an online class so I ordered through AMAZON whcih delivered the book through the postal system arriving in 4 or 5 days much to my surprise. Excellent service.

Customer Review: Not As Helpful as the Title Suggests
If you are interested to see what other companies are doing, who have no relevance to yours, this book is for you. If you are looking for practical guidance that you can use in your own situation, buy something else.

Creative folks often know all too well that the muse doesn’t always strike when you want it to, or when the deadline for your next brilliant project is creeping up on you like an ill-fitting turtleneck. Originality doesn’t follow a time clock, even when you have to. While conventional time management books offer tons of instruction for using time wisely, they are traditionally organized in a linear fashion, which just isn’t helpful for the right-brain mind. In Time Management for the Creative Person, creativity guru Lee Silber offers real advice for using the strengths of artistic folks—like originality and resourcefulness—to adopt innovative time-saving solutions, such as:

* Learning to say no when your plate is just too full
* How to know when a good job, not a great one, is good enough
* Making “to do” lists that include fun stuff, too—that way you won’t feel overwhelmed by work
* Time-saving techniques around the house that give you more time to get your work done and more time to spend with your loved ones
* The keys to clutter control that will keep your work space and your living space neat

With these and lots of other practical tips, Lee Silber will help anyone, from the time-starved caterer rushing to prepare for her next party to the preoccupied painter who forgets when the electric bill is due, make the most of their time and turn the clock and the calendar into friends, not foes.

Customer Review: Time Management for the Creative Person; Right-Brain Strategies for Stopping Procrastination, Getting Control of the Clock
I liked this book very much because it was written for people like me. I was given many explanations for my behavior without making me feel badly. Also there were many practical suggestions that one could start doing as soon as the book was read. I especially found the part on procrastination helpful.

Customer Review: Fantastic for people who cringe at the words “time management”
If typical time-management advice leaves you cold, this book offers a refreshingly different perspective, and tons of practical ideas that are based on creative and abstract thinking, not linear, robotic instructions. This is for those of us who are usually 5 minutes late, who search the house for a slip of paper with vital information, and who find day-planners to be tedious and inconvenient. And this book never makes you feel guilty or inadequate for not following traditional advice on “productivity.”

This book proposes that organization and time management strategies should be personalized and comfortable. They should be empowering, not restrictive, and make your life more relaxed, not more stressful. Until reading this book, I had not considered that this was possible. I have adopted many of the author’s ideas and specific suggestions, and I have continued using them for over a year since I first read it. I’ve increased my freelance earnings, created a workspace I love to work in, and reduced the stress in my life. If you cringe at most time-management books, please read this one.

Customer Review: Nice Book, Super Seller Overall
This book came fast, new conditon, what more can I ask for?
Still reading ths book from time to time, it is a good buy for sure.

Customer Review: The only time management book you need!
Throw out the time management books and replace it with this one. Ms. Morgenstern is easy to read and her book is a great reference to have on hand. My husband does everything on the computer and I am a paper freak, Julie addresses both types and explains which one will be better for you. The time map is awesome once you implement it. I can’t say enough about this book, but I know I need no other and they have all moved out of my house!

When you are interested in making your day go smoothly, and you want to watch how you are using your time, a good time management book will help you. Time management books will give you all of the strategies necessary to get your work done while still allowing you to enjoy your time, even during a busy day. The information supplied to you is worth much more than the cost of the time management book if you have even an extra hour left to yourself every day.

Using a Time Management Book
If you follow the guidelines of the book, you can have every aspect of your day accounted for. However, some simple rules can be followed without the use of a time management book. A good time management book will really help in the case you are new to the time management field.

You may even want to purchase a time management book for the people that are around you. If you are a business owner and would like to see a better performance from your employees, your employees might need a copy of a good time management book. You could even provide specific bonuses for anyone that reads the book and sets up their own time management plan.

Effective Time Management
Time management books often talk about taking stock of your current daily schedule in fact, the advice from most time management books can be boiled down to the following principles:

Take stock of your schedule

Point out the things that waste your time

Prioritize your goals

Set deadlines for yourself

Meet your deadlines and complete your tasks

Why do you still need a time management book if all this advice is present here? Because time management books equip you with the exact tools you need to accomplish each of these steps. Effective time management does not come from knowing what to do it stems from knowing how to do it.

You may feel that all knowledge is not stored in books and that time management books cannot teach you something that the real world can. You may be right about some aspects, but when it comes to managing your time it is not about experience but knowing what works in the real world. Most of the people around us suffer from poor time management exactly the reason why so many time management books are being written. By applying the lessons learned here and in a time management book, youll be miles ahead of the pack.

Writing this article was not that easy because we wanted to provide quality to our readers and now when you have finished reading this article, do you feel that we have been successful in achieving our purpose?

Customer Review: Trust this title!
Trust this title! This book really does contain The 25 Best Time Management Tools & Techniques. Ultimately this will tell you How to Get More Done Without Driving Yourself Crazy. Let’s face it–24 hours in a day don’t seem nearly long enough when you have multiple projects and deadly deadlines. These authors have put together strategies that actually work, simply because they have proven these techniques themselves. Both of them are out in the business world and therefore understand the time constraints, which led them to develop a solution for success.

The basic idea of the book is terrific. The authors read the top 20 time management books on the market and compiled the best advice into one easy-to-read book. Getting the benefit from 20 top-selling authors makes this one book a valuable resource. Five specific areas are covered: Focus, Plan, Organize, Take Action and Learn. A steady progression of ideas and actions are presented, allowing the reader time to think through the principles and actually apply them. Although it’s best to read the book straight through, if a reader is tight on time, these specific categories can be used to find certain areas that may need immediate improvement. Already, the book saves the reader time!

The 25 tools and techniques mentioned in the title have the potential to positively affect anyone in the business world. These principles are clear and concise, but most importantly, they are realistic. While they involve a lot of concepts already known to successful people, having them arranged in this manner was a definite plus. From prioritizing to organizing, this book takes the reader into the corporate world and gives them a solid and secure route to achieving maximum productivity.

An annotated bibliography and a couple bonus sections are helpful, although some readers may be overwhelmed with all the additional information. As a sourcebook and a place of ready reference, this book is a hands-down winner. Anyone in the business world can benefit from this book, whether they are a seasoned CEO or a bright-eyed and excited entrepreneur.

There is a definite upbeat attitude by the authors, drawing readers in and assuring them that success and time management can be achieved, once their relationship is understood and applied. Practical advice is freely given, and detailed plans of action are both clear and informative. There are principles to help the reader say no, delegate work and communicate better.

In an exciting and wonderful way, this book practices what it preaches. It gleans the best advice, organizes it in a logical sequence, provides additional references and sums it all up for the reader. There is a lot of very useful information in this book. Sit down with a notebook beside you and prepare to be impressed at the authors’ research and be ready to put these ideas into action. These field-tested, concrete management techniques can definitely help you get more done in the course of a day, while keeping sane. There is something useful on every page, and the way these techniques are presented makes the concepts readily available and easy to remember.
